Thanksgiving is about being with the fam and enjoying the simple things in life.  The night before Thanksgiving is about having one of the greatest nights of the year in Milwaukee.  November 25, 2009 is the start to a 5 day weekend where all the good people are home and there’s more than enough trouble to get into. We’re expecting Pre Thanksgiving to be 100% malarkey. Here’s where to take off to tonight…

It’s always good to give back to the community… and why not enjoy a pint of Hook&Ladder for $1 in the process. :-) Bar Louie Downtown will be hosting an event where all of your $10 donations will be served to the Greater Milwaukee Regional Burn Center.  The first 75 receive a Hook&Ladder Pint glass as well as free appetizers with that $10 donation.  The event goes down from 7-10pm tonight.

Since Horny Goat Brewing hit the scene hard this summer, the company has always been looking to do it big.  With the GRAND OPENING of the Horny Hideaway this weekend, owners Jim Sorenson and the boys are doing it real BIG, starting tonight!!! Located at 2011 South 1st Street, the Horny Hideaway does what no other major beer co. can do… provide a full service drinking experience that’s actually worth our time.  The Horny Hideaway keeps the taps flowing with HG’s Exposed, Belgian Wheat and Hopped Up N Horny brews. The Exposed, our personal favorite, is very smooth with a crisp taste. Milwaukee loves a good Halloween Party. Since Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, there’s no doubt you’ll get the full cost of your costume twice over this year. I’ve been to the hoods in Baltimore, Maryland. I’ve even been to the woods in Maryland. Those shits are real scary… This was the LEAST SCARIEST SCARY MOVIE of all time!!!! Nobody likes to be in the woods by themselves and they fucked it up!!! Royally!!! I wanted all of my $15 back from North Shore Cinema on opening night which causes me still pain when anyone brings up going to a movie there because The Blair Crap Project has such a profoundly wallet ruining experience. Fuck all three of the actors in this movie cause none of their careers went anywhere after this anyways. So take that Blair Witch Project, I’ve finally gotten my revenge!!!

4th Annual Chocolate Pudding Wrestling Tournament

For the fourth year in a row, the sexiest ladies will be match up in  a no holds barred chocolate pudding wrestling tourney at Moct.  With 16 girls ready to get it on in good ol’ fashion chocolate Jello-O pudding, even Cliff Huxtable would be proud.  Following the championship round, Horny Goat will host a Drinking Olympics, where 4 person teams will drink it off for multiples prizes. Closing out the night will be UFC 104 on the big screens.  You’ll be able to see 4 fighters hailing from Cream City looking to destroy their opponents.  It’s going to be one hell of a night!!!

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who participated in our August sales promotion. The winners got to try some great beers and meet people from some of the best breweries in the country. Since it was such a great success I figured we better do something else! Particularly since the results of that were better than that of any of the media I paid for AAAAAND it didn’t cost me anything. Not only that, but “mainstream advertising” costs more than my frickin’ mortgage payment so when faced with the choices… a) pay my mortgage or b) pay for some advertising, you can guess I take option A. So this time we’re going to switch it up a bit and its not going to cost YOU anything. It’s only going to cost ME something! Seems fair right?!

So here it is… The two people who send in the most new customers to buy something, and sign up for our email list will each get a $100 Gift Certificate to spend at Blatz Liquor. I don’t care what they buy, but I can’t put them in as a customer without a transaction, and I doubt people are going to go out of their way to buy a pack of gum. Here is all the need to say.. “I was referred by (your name here) and would like to sign up on your customer list.” At that point they can start referring too!
